We finally have the internets coming into our new home--CABLE internets, a luxury I have never before enjoyed. It's real nice. The porn just loads right up.
I talked to my parents on the phone the other night, and they told me that even my brother had given up on our president, by which they meant to convey the idea that Bush had obviously lost his last believer. My father said that even the cashier girl at the gas station near their south Alabama farm was apologizing for the price they were charging for gas, saying, "What else can you expect from a president who's an oil man?" He seemed to see this as a sign of impending apocalypse.
Also, someone poured a cup of urine into the library book drop yesterday. Can you believe that? Of course you can, people are disgusting.
