I somehow comepletely forgot to mention it in my weekend recap, but my gyrl explained in her diary the other day that Elvis drove our taxi last Friday night. The day after it happened, I wondered if maybe I had imagined it, since Elvis did ferry us between bars and so my powers of perception were not at their finest right then. Still, I could remember talking to him about Memphis, where I lived for four years (he wasn't impressed by it) and Graceland (the Home of the King, not the bar he was driving us to).
But I'm guessing, from this link that R sent me this morning, that it really happened.
I heart Seattle.
