I got four tickets to the Friday night Pixies show in Vancouver, which sold out in about 11.4 seconds. I feel as though I won a fabulous prize. Would you like my autograph? (Although, if you go to the official Pixies site, it says that these are just a series of warm-up dates, so I think they will probably come to your town. Which, I mean seriously--Winnepeg? Saskatoon? Who has even heard of these places? So I think, not to worry.)
Also, the sun is out and it's a crisp, sparkly-shiny day--the kind of day my father calls a Bluebird Day.
So that's two checks in the "good day" column.
