I got the lab results from my second surgery this morning, and they were perfect�no more cancer. I don�t have to have radiation therapy, which has been the big question mark for the last few weeks. I really deeply did not want the radiation therapy.
My doctor, an imposing Germanic guy from South Africa who is actually named Dr. Mann,* if you can stand it, gave me a hug and then showed me a picture of his new bike. Apparently, the new LeMond model gives you the benefits of a carbon frame and a titanium frame in one!
You know that feeling you get when you see the police lights come on behind you so you pull over, but then the cop drives on past?
That�s what it�s like.
*Please do not stalk Dr. Mann.
