Last night I went out for drinks with Mrs. Roboto and Monkey and Birdie, and hell if they didn�t take my frown and turn it upside down in about five minutes flat. Girl time is good. By the way, everyone knows how glamorous and hilarious Mrs. R is, but I think one of her best qualities is a talent for putting things into perspective. Plus, she can hold her liquor like nobody�s business.
Then Birdie and Monkey and D. and I went to see the Decemberists, and they were good. You don't see enough bands with an accordion these days.
I slept through my class on Theories of Cataloging That Nobody Cares About this morning, and I don�t feel one bit bad about it. This afternoon, I�m getting a haircut AND a manicure, and then I will be fancy. Also perhaps a nap, because I think the hangover is starting to catch up with me.
