It's like I fell through some kind of wormhole the first week of last November and landed in an alternate universe where my life is awesome in just about every way, but the world in general has gone to shit on the level of young adult science fiction. I'm pretty sure there's an alternate universe somewhere where I sat alone in a sad little apartment last night, drinking a toast to President Kerry.
