The dumb, golddigging (but pretty! she was real pretty!) girlfriend that my brother has had for a year broke his heart. Here is a sample from last nights' conversation with my mom on this topic:
Me: Mom, grown-up people do not act like that. She is completely unacceptable in every way, and I want to beat the crap out of her.
Mom: Oh, honey. I just love you, and I'm so glad you're coming home.
On a brighter note, I hadn't realized how close I was to getting this person as I sister-in-law, and I'm really, really glad I was spared. Seen in that light, it's kind of a Christmas miracle.

A couple of weeks ago, someone told me about these new Flava dolls (not to be confused with My Scene Barbie), and the other day I finally saw the commercial.
Wow. I think these dolls are great, because it's never too early to let little girls know that there is a Scene and they need to be a part of it. And also that doing so will require lots and lots and lots of outfits.

I've been updating like mad this week. I don't think this trend will continue.
