Yesterday a patron sat down at the reference desk and explained some of the mysteries of history to me. I would share them with you, but he said that I'd probably be killed if I ever put them in writing or talked about them over the phone. Suffice to say, there was a vast conspiracy involving Hitler, Jack the Ripper, and the royal family of England.
But then, I'm sure you already suspected as much. It's pretty obvious, when you think about it.
