Very harrowing day yesterday. To make a long story slightly less long, I thought the kitty had gotten out somehow, because I couldn't find her anywhere in the apartment. I searched ALL OVER Capitol Hill, I made signs, I cried and cried. She eventually wandered out from behind some books on a lower shelf, where she'd been fast asleep the whole 8 hours. I felt like kind of an idiot, but not as idiotic as when I thought I'd let her get out, with no tags on or anything. She's doing famously now, and is lovey-er than ever. Still nameless.
