Lo, I have been to hell, and that hell is called groupwork. Today we turn in our last assignment, and the pain is over until next term, when the group assignments will be about databases and I will get to be the one who brings the whole group down.

I finally found some holiday cheer. Mr. and Mrs. Santa, in full winter regalia, had all of us elves over to their ski lodge last night. (It's actually in Fremont, but it seems like a ski lodge.) We all did a rousing acoustic version of "Shook Me All Night Long," and I felt the spirit of the season fill my small, small heart.
